These Terms of Use (End User License Agreement) govern your use of Spellfolk, package identifier com.fivitech.spellfolk ("Spellfolk" or "the app"), published by Fivitech. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app
Spellfolk is a word puzzle game with no account creation or sign-in — you play as an anonymous device account created automatically on first launch. All levels, dictionary content, scenes and art are produced by or for Spellfolk.
Your responsibilities
You must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and the applicable app-store terms. You are responsible for keeping your device secure. We may discontinue or change features where necessary for security, legal, store-policy or compatibility reasons.
Virtual currency and items
Coins, power-ups and other in-app items ("virtual items") are licensed to you for use within Spellfolk only. Virtual items have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for real money, cannot be transferred between accounts or devices, and are not your property — they are a limited, revocable license. We may adjust the economy (prices, rewards, availability) at any time; unused virtual items may be lost if the app or a feature is discontinued, to the extent permitted by law.
Coin packs and the starter bundle
Coin packs (coins_500, coins_1500, coins_3500, coins_8000) and the starter_bundle are one-time consumable purchases that grant coins and, for the starter bundle, power-up items. They are not subscriptions and do not renew.
Spellfolk VIP subscription
Spellfolk VIP is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly (with a 3-day free trial) or yearly, at the price shown in the app and on the store listing at the time of purchase. Payment is charged to your app-store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term and at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a VIP subscription during the trial. Manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — Spellfolk cannot cancel it for you.
Refunds
All purchases are billed and administered by the app store where they were made (Apple App Store or Google Play). Spellfolk does not receive your payment-card details and cannot directly issue a refund. Refund eligibility, timing and decisions are governed by the applicable store's policies:
- Apple App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: use Google Play's refund help.
Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
Availability and disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. Levels, the daily word, and the leaderboard depend on our backend service and may be unavailable during maintenance or an outage.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, progress, access, profits or goodwill arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
Termination and changes
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end availability where reasonably required by law, security or platform policy. We may update these Terms and will publish a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
